It was almost one year ago, on September 19, 2010, that ITXGamer went live to the world for the first time. Since then, we’ve put together a great community of gamers and enthusiasts who enjoy the challenges and the satisfaction of their powerful little ITX gaming systems.
To celebrate the one year anniversary of the site, I’ve done a major overhaul with a new logo and an updated layout. I cleaned up the code for faster load times and a more reliable experience.
I rebuilt the Motherboard Comparison Tool to make it more useful. Some of you have already had a sneak peak at it. Thanks again for helping me test it out. There’s still a few little tweaks that it needs and now that it’s open to the public, there will be a few more ideas coming in to help improve it further.
And before anyone points out that I’m celebrating a wee bit early(the 19th is still 9 days away), I rolled out the new package ahead of schedule because during the final setup of the new theme, I seemed to have broken the old one. Instead of bothering to fix the compatibility of the old theme, I just tossed it and ran out the shiny new one a bit early.
Thanks again to everyone who has helped to build our community by reading regularly, commenting on our stories, participating in our forums and offering their own hardware for review for the site. It is very much appreciated.
